O vulcão Kilauea, no Havai, voltou a entrar em erupção e as imagens partilhadas pelos Serviço Geológico dos Estados Unidos (USGS, sigla em inglês) são impressionantes.
Na terça-feira, dia 23 de dezembro, o vulcão Kilauea entrou de novo em erupção, tendo atingindo uma altura de mais de 305 metros. Foi pelas 21h45 locais que a lava do lado sul do vulcão atingiu uma altura de 280 metros.
De acordo com os cientistas, a força da erupção foi tal que chegou a desativar uma das câmaras de observação ao vivo do Observatório Vulcânico do Havai.
Segundo o USGS, o Kilauea é “um dos vulcões mais ativos do mundo” e está em erupção periodicamente há um ano – desde 23 de dezembro de 2024.
