Alison Dorton, de 33 anos, está convencida de que a sua filha, de apenas três anos, deveria calçar Crocs para o resto da sua vida. Num vídeo partilhado no TikTok, a mulher, do Tennessee, nos EUA, conta que este calçado salvou a vida da menina, durante um incidente com uma máquina de cortar relva.
Segundo reporta, Sofia estava a brincar no quintal de casa enquanto o pai cortava a relva, no dia 7 de maio. A menina caiu no exato momento em que a máquina passava junto a si, tendo-lhe apanhado um pé.
O momento foi salvo pelo sapato de borracha, que terá ficado alojado nas lâminas, imobilizando-as, tendo o pai da criança conseguido pegar na criança a tempo de nada de grave acontecer.
“Foi o melhor cenário possível”, conta a mulher, referindo que poderia tratar-se de uma tragédia.
No final, a filha sofreu apenas um corte ligeiro no pé e está bem de saúde.
